Creation Club Support
Although Winds of the North requires the Anniversary Edition of Skyrim, not every single creation has been utilized.
As of version 3.0.0, this list has been narrowed down to a select few curated creations. I’m sure some of you might be asking questions like “If you are going to require the Anniversary Edition, why not just use all of the creations?” or “Why not only use the free creations included with the vanilla game?”.
Well, there are a couple of reasons for this. I don’t want to just cram in creations because they are available to use. There are some, like the crossbows or alternative armors, that I feel bring a lot of value to the game once they are re-integrated via mods. If I were to only use the free creations, the list would miss out on the benefits that mods like these bring. Some of the other creations feel out of place in the context of this modlist. Therefore, I have chosen to integrate only the ones I feel are the most important.
- Survival Mode has been completely overhauled by “Survival Mode Improved” by…me! and Starfrost by SimonMagus.
- The Alternative Armors creations have all been integrated into most of the leveled lists by a very heavily modified version of Oreo’s CC Alternative Armors - Quest Removal Enchanted Variants and Proper Distribution for Thaumaturgy
- Some of the Creation Club houses have been overhauled to some degree
- Crossbows are integrated using a combination of “Tamrielic Distribution”, “Kachunk”, “Thwack” and “Rare Curious Bolts Expanded”.
- “Horse Whistle Key” overhauls vanilla horses as well as the Creation Club’s “Wild Horses” and Horse Armors.
As of 3.0.0, this table is currently being worked on. If something seems incorrect, feel free to ask about it in Discord.
Items that are labeled as “NOT SUPPORTED” simply means that the creation will not be enabled in the list, but the list still requires the Anniversary Edition content to be installed.
Items labeled as “Unchanged” means that they are enabled and active in the list, but they are left in their vanilla state.
